The CDMP was completed in 2009 as an update to the Park Master Plan but with an expanded scope. The CDMP was formulated to include considerations for local art and cultural opportunities rather than just the typical parks fields and trails topics normally addressed.
In November, 2019, an update to the Community Development and Parks Master Plan was completed. This document is used by Parks & Recreation Department staff, the Community Development Corporation Board and City Council to help guide development of the local park system.
The resulting document provides a much better view of the big picture and opportunities to enhance our community.
